Checking Data with a Smartphone.
Background

Currently, we monitor production data, control in/out of stock from many process in the plant using a bar code reader and a computer. From these data, we aim a high quality and speedy production, however, due to the computer cost, equipment resistance issue, and many difficulties we had in order to keep spreading the IoT on the production lines, we were feeling the necessity to review the method of implementation of data collecting.

Next Action
Promote an easier and quick IoT access to checkproduction information, so everyone can use it.

Developing a smartphone application for internal use from computer

Achievements

We made it possible to do the computer (tablet) + bar code reader both function using a single and low cost smartphone by developing internally an application for smartphone to monitor production and stock data.

Since an intern was so talented and worked hard, it took only two weeks for us to have carried out the development to the practical test phase in our factory.
